Using PitchChanger

PitchChanger provides online tools that change the pitch, key and speed of audio and video files in your browser. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Your files and your rights

You keep all rights to the files you open and the results you download. Processing happens on your device, so your files are not sent to us.

You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use and modify the audio you process, including copyrighted music, and for how you use the results.

Acceptable use

Use PitchChanger only for lawful purposes. Do not try to disrupt the site, overload it with automated requests, or interfere with other people's use of it.

Changes to the service

We work to keep PitchChanger available and accurate, and we may change, add or remove features at any time. Results depend on your device, browser and source file, so listen to your output before relying on it, and keep a copy of your original files.

PitchChanger is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PitchChanger is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the site.

Open-source software

PitchChanger is built with open-source software. Each component is used under its own license:

• Signalsmith Stretch for pitch and speed processing (MIT License)
• LAME for MP3 encoding (GNU LGPL; the source code is available from the LAME project)
• Mediabunny for reading media files and writing MP3 and WAV files (Mozilla Public License 2.0)
• Meyda for key detection (MIT License)
• Tonal for note and key names (MIT License)
• wavesurfer.js for the waveform display (BSD 3-Clause License)

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the new terms.
